"The Inbetween & the Not Yet" thematizes in a poetic and personal way the connections between art production and the complexity of the "ocean". Based on Yves Klein's artwork "Relief éponge bleu" (1960), the film takes "blue" as an occasion to show color-inherent associations to personal and global contexts that can be found between language and media representation. The result is a critical examination of geographical and visual dispositive of power, which becomes clear through documentary footage and detailed shots.
